De La Nada- Los Primeros Boricuas

This was inspired on the average puertorrican, who likes to critizice anyone that decides to do something about an injustice. If you stand up and protest; they critizice you, if you complain; they critizice you. It's frustrating.

I got inspired to draw this after reading that some protesters from "Occupy Puerto Rico" are assembling in front of a national bank. But when I read the comments of the people, they only know how to make fun of the "poor attendance" of the event and/or call those that dare to protest "comunists" and other adjectives that they have no idea of their true meaning.

It's a play on a part of our island's history, when some indians killed a Spaniard conquistador (called Salcedo) and thus proved that Spaniards were not gods and so, they could actually revolt against them.
The other two indians being whipped are calling the rebel indian a "hairy, socialist comunist" and ungrateful to the "bosses" that give them food.

The joke here is that these indians were the first true puertorricans. Sorry for not translating the actual comic, you see; Im lazy...a true puertorrican after all XD
